Bagging and storage are very crucial activities in maize storage process and it involves measuring the right amount or weight of grains and package for sale.

Storage precautions
Always first place storage tablets in the sack before stitching in order to properly keep the grains in the store for long to add on that clean the store properly by sweeping and mopping well as sealing holes in store to block all pests possible entry channels, furthermore clear bushes around the store to avoid attracting pests or insects and seal off roof linkages to avoid development of moulds in grains while in store as this lowers quality leading to post harvest losses.
However avoid using tone bags for storage and spilling grains in store as these attract pests and lastly store bags on pallets well arranged in the store to avoid the development of moulds that lower maize quality.
