In this video we discuss the best time to introduce hydroponic fodder to different livestock and quantities of fodder to be fed.

For rabbits, cows, goats/ sheep and pigs hydroponic fodder should be introduced after weaning ie when they stop suckling and you are introducing them to solid food.

Chicken

For layers chicken, introduce hydroponic fodder when they get to growers stage and this is normally 8 weeks. This also applies for local chicken.

For the broilers, introduce fodder after two weeks because they are harvested or taken to the market after six weeks. Remember you should introduce fodder gradually.
