Diarrhea causes
Diarrhea is caused by several ways for example infections from bacteria, viruses and protozoan. Additionally worms as well cause diarrhea through damaging intestines thus resulting into poor absorption of nutrients. Furthermore, organ damage such as kidney and liver also cause diarrhea. Lastly heat stress as well as ingestion of toxins materials also cause diarrhea in all types of birds.
Diarrhea treatment
Start by mixing 8 teaspoons of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and baking soda in 4 liters of water and give to chickens this brings iron balance in the chickens body thus treating diarrhea. Furthermore, add 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar per liter of chicken drinking water to kill worms and harmful bacteria that cause diarrhea. Also add both chopped halves of onion and garlic in boiling water for 10 minutes, cool, sieve and give the extract to birds this kills bacteria’s and fungi toxins. Lastly, boil 1 liter of water, add 10 thyme splits, turn off fire, cool water, sieve and administer the extract to chickens.
