Teak can be harvested at a slow and sustainable pace, typically allowing for the annual extraction of around 100 cubic feet per year. Teak Planting & Irrigation
Teak trees are usually planted shortly after the monsoon season, taking advantage of the favorable sunlight and soft soil conditions. In the initial one to two years, irrigation is necessary, but the tree becomes self-sufficient thereafter. During planting, it is crucial to incorporate vascular micronizers and bio-fertilizers into the base to foster the growth of beneficial microorganisms and encourage the spread of vascular mycorrhiza through the root systems, facilitating better nutrition, water absorption, and information exchange among the trees.
