The quality and quantity of crops from an agricultural field is highly affected by the level of fertility of the soils.
As chemical fertilizers down soil pollute water and earth, regular use of chemical fertilizers also make soils compacted, make weeds and crops grow excessively. The crop leaves attract sacking insect and pests.
Growth promoter
As natural growth promoters are used for cereal crops, vegetables and fruits, they help in flower formation, increase food size and fastens crop maturity as crops are harvested 15 days before schedule.
Similarly, for basic natural growth promoter, mix 1 tray of fresh cow dung with 1/2kg of ghee/ butter to improve on good microbes in cow dung. Transport mixture to plastic container, cover it, keep it in shade and after 3 days add 10l of urine and 10l water and mix well.
Cover container with clean cloth and stir mixture in morning and evening for 10 minutes for 2 weeks to remove remaining gas from cow dung. After 2 weeks, add 3l of water from green coconut, add 3l of pure milk and slowly add 2l of clogged milk and mix.
Continue by adding 3 kg of natural brown sugar of molasses or add 12 ripe bananas smashed well to the mixture and cover container with wire mesh or mosquito net. Stir solution daily for 2 weeks so that all ingredients mix well.
Collect leaves from local plants with strong smell that livestock dont eat and mix 1kg of leaves in 5 litres of urine, cover mixture with clean cloth and keep in shade for 10 days. Stir mixture everyday in morning and evening.
Furthermore, filter leaf extract 3-4 times to remove any particles, add 1l of filtered extract to 5l of growth promoter and keep mixture in covered containers in shade for 4 weeks. Soak 1kg of seed in 3kg of solution for 30 minutes followed by drying them in shade for 6 hours before sowing. For plant propagated by roots of cuttings, dip roots for 1/2 hr before planting and dilute 3l of solution into 100l of water to spray vegetables and sorghum.
Finally, spray 2 weeks after transplanting and also mix 2 cups of solution for 20l of water in drip irrigation system.
