»Human urine as fertilizer«

As an innovation and invention from farmers, human urine is a potential nutrient yielding component which can be used to maintain good health of the soils.
Farmers use human urine to recover soil fertility given that it is full of nutrients needed by plants and also used as a chemical fertilizer. During the rainy season, decomposed human urine is applied as it is without dilution.

Fertilizer making

First, collect urine using containers and when they are full, put them a side and seal tightly and store for 2 weeks for thorough decomposition and making the nutrients available for the crops when applied. In dry season, dilute the decomposed urine with water in a ratio of 2:1 of water to urine.
Similarly, make small furrows in plant rows of 10-20 cm and apply urine close to the ground and later on cover the furrows immediately after application to prevent nutrients from disappearing into air. Find out the the amount of urine needed for application in a given soil and for effectiveness apply repeatedly.
Leave a month between last application and harvesting and always wash hands carefully with water and soap after handling urine.
Finally if possible, use protective gears when handling urine for safety.
