Being a highly nutritious crop of high value to the farmers, tomato farming and production requires an appropriate technology. As saving seeds make plants stronger every year, it prevents diseases like blight. Pick ripest tomatoes, slice them open and squeeze seeds into a glass jar and add water to the seeds and cover the air tightly. Fermentation lead to a loss of 20% of seeds.

Seed management

First, leave the jar in warmer area for a few days  for fermentation and remove the upper material and put seed in the sieve. Rinse seeds using water, split them on kitchen paper and put it in full sun for drying for a week and put date and variety on paper and fold it and put it in poly bag.
Similarly, label the bag as well and put it in fridge and finally it can be kept for 5 years.
