Good pest control comes with early pest identification. This enables easy control of the pests using environmentally friendly means. Organic pest control capitalizes mainly on the crops that are in our vicinity. Look out for plants that have a srong smell and these can help repel away insect pests.

Making organic pesticides

Menthol and garlic can be used to make organic pesticide. The pesticide is made by infusing the garlic and water, solution kept for at least three weeks and then sprayed on the plants.
Chili, cinnamon and pepper mint can also be mixed with water to make organic pesticide.
Herbs and fruits could as well be used to make organic pesticide.  The herbs can be turned into pesticide by boiling them. Cut the herbs into small pieces and then heat them at high temperature till boiling and after boiling, lower the temperature and maintain boiling temperature for about 5 hours.
After, filter the solution, put it in a heat resistant bottle and seal it for future use.
Don’t use the pesticides on the sunny day as this can lead to burning of the crops.
