Crop management
As pes grow well in cool weather and do best in spring, they should be planted 4-6 weeks before th last frost date and also planted in intervals for continous harvesting. Mix organic matter with soil and directly seed peas or innoculate them in rhizobia bacteria and plant after.
Similary, peas do best when directly seeded and types are bush and vining peas however vining peas should be planted 1.5 inches deep the soil and planted along the fence. Grow peas 6-8 weeks before first expected frost and protect thm against pests and keep soil with high moisture levels.
Mulch soil and harvest peas 60-70 days from planting by picking thm to allow more production. Hold fruit by a hand and pull it by the other hand to harvest peas.
