Being highly nutitious rich in both macro and micro nutrients for the human health, mushroom farming can be done using simpla technology. As mushroom growing require lidded plastic containers, straw, mushroom spawn, surgical tape and porous sack, a farmer should drill holes in bucket in all sides at a spacing of 15cm apart and chop straws into small pieces and pasteurise it to prevent fungi.

Mushroom growing

First, drain out water from pasteurized straw and dry it for half an hour and then clean and disinfect all the utensils and put starw in bucket and compess it well. Spread 5-10% grain spawn in 90-95% straw and cover each holes with tape to retain moisture and cover with lid.
Additionally, because mycellium spread out on straw in 2 weeks and colonise, remove surgical tapes and place container in humid area/ place with simple light (sunlight). Mist the container twice a day to keep humidity up and mushrooms are harvested in 29 days when caps are fully opened out.
Finally, harvest and leave others to grow and keep humidity up.
