»How To Grow Grapes From Hardwood Cuttings«

Being a high value nutritious fruit crop, the technology of growing grapes can easily be adapted by the farming fraternity.
Because pruning of grapes is done in the late winter, take healthy canes with buds forming at uniform interval when taking cuttings with each cutting having 3-4 buds on it. Make cuttings 12-18 inches long.

Grape cuttings

First, cut stem right cross to the top bud and place cuttings in container of 4-5 inches of water for 24-48 hours. Fill containers to top with potting mix and soak them for 1 day and then place stems into pot suspending them about 1-2 inches above the bottom.
Additionally, as grape vines root sprout 21-27 degrees centigrade, after a week bulbs begin to swell and sprout in 2 weeks time.
Finally, keep new grape plants indoors until those outside begin to sprout.
