Bee venom is one of the products from bee keeping and this can be extracted from the bees using simple machines.
To collect the venom, you need a venom collecting machine which contains a pan where the bees sting, and a battery which provides shock to the bees when they sting. The shock provides an irritation to the bees which causes them to do more stinging. There is a wire that connects the battery to the pan.

Venom extraction

Before doing venom extraction, ensure that you are protected by wearing protective equipment like the bee suit because when the battery and pan are connected, the pan produces a scent that triggers the bees to begin stinging and also makes bees more aggressive.
After connecting the pan to the battery, take the pan and place it at the entrance of the hive where you want to collect the venom from.
This triggers the bees to begin stinging onto the pan. Leave the pan in place for bout 15 minutes.
After the bees stinging, they become less aggressive. During the extraction ensure that you have a smoker and use it to stop the bees from stinging you.
On a Kenya top bar hive, place it at the entrance and support it with a wooden stick.
Venom is measured in grams and three strong colonies can give you one gram of bee venom.
