As zucchinis crop is grown in containers from seeds, containers are bought from the store or home made. The crop require rich in nutrient, well drained with high organic matter with slightly acidic or neutral pH soil.
Crop management
As the crop can be grown in beds, basket and buckets, fill pot or container with soil mix, make holes in the centre for placing plants and cover base with soil. Mulch an inch layer of soil with straw, leaves or grass and soak container into water for for soils to hold enough water to its holding capacity.
Similarly, put plants in the sunlight for a minimum of 6 hours daily and finally add nutrients to pot for the crop at planting and at start of fruiting as well.
