Cleaning and disinfecting
For proper results, use proper concentration of cleaner by putting measured amount in the reservoir and make sure you insert the correct tip into the lid for product being used and use a designated foamer for cleaning and a different one for disinfecting as these need different dilution tips.
Similarly, label the foamer, inspect the room after cleaning and look for build up on the inside of feeder and inspect the room after power washing as well. Use and ensure proper concentration of disinfectant following the vet‘s recommendations . Measuring is done by use of measuring cups or buckets, syringes for proper concentration.
Finally, know the pathogens on the farm to march disinfecting programmes and asses the room after disinfection process for clean environment.
