Being a highly nutritious fruit rich in vitamins and other minerals, strawberry growing is based on the level of technologies used for massive production.
As strawberries grow ell in mild climate requiring 6 hours of sun light, use rich organic soils of 5.5 – 6.5 pH which is moist and well drained. Most strawberry plants are grown from runners they look best between age 3 and 5 however, as plant matures, it becomes less productive.

As strawberry have shallow root system, ensure proper weeding to keep the plant healthy and apply balanced fertilizers on plants which have limited nitrogen. Remove all runners from mother plant and plant strawberries at recommended depth leaving the crown above ground.
However, water often strawberries especially during fruiting, mulch field to reduce water loss and ensure proper drainage of the plants. Keep plants young always by rotating it every 3-5 years for high productivity.
