Signs and symptoms
Affected birds show signs and symptoms such as sneezing, nasal discharge, coughing, greenish and watery diarrhea. Additionally, birds also exhibit depression, drooping of feathers, eye swelling, reduced egg production, and thin-shelled eggs. In case of severe attack birds show signs like neck twisting, muscle tremors, paralysis, and lastly, sudden massive death also occurs.
Organic remedy preparation
Start by collecting ingredients such as red hot pepper, wood ash, 1 liter of water and aloe Vera leaves. Thereafter, add 10 seeds of hot pepper in a container and, 1 teaspoon of ash thereafter, cut aloe Vera into pieces and add as well, stir, and give the sieved mixture to birds for 4 days. Alternatively, crush onions, and garlic and add honey, allow mixture to stay for 1 night, and give 1 teaspoon to each bird. On the other hand, also, boil oregano and rosemary leaves for 2 minutes sieve, add 4 lemon juice, and give 10 MLS per chicken.
