Plant nutrient requirements are different at different growth stages and at flowering and fruiting, the right nutrient supply will help minimize flower abortion and maximize yield.

The reproductive stage also known as the flowering ad fruiting stage comes right after the vegetative growth stage and at this stage, the plants develop many flowers and fruits on each fruit. The plant requirement for NPK is slightly changed.

Reproductive stage NPK

At this stage, the plant’s energy is directed toward the production of flowers and fruits. During this stage, the plant requires more potassium and phosphorous than Nitrogen.
To make this fertilizer, you need a mixing container and to it,  add 1 part of bone meal powder which is made by grinding bones after steaming them. Its NPK value is around 3:15:0.
Add an equal amount of neem cake powder. This contains an NPK value of 3:1:2.  This is also a good source of calcium, Magnesium, Sulphur, zinc, copper, iron, and manganese. Neem cake powder also acts as a pesticide.
Add dry banana peel powder. This can easily be made at home from banana peels. This is an important source of Potassium and contains an NPK value of 0:3:42.
After putting the three ingredients in a mixing container, mix them thoroughly and now they are ready for use and contains an NPK value of around 6:19:44.
