Being a highly nutritious crop rich in vitamins, the qulaity and quantity of strawberry production is highly determined by the type and level of technology used. Because srawberries anre on;y productive for only 1-2 years, runners develop roots on nodes which are cut ant potted and they are first left on mother plant for continuous feeding and then chopped to individual plants after establishment.
