Equipment calibration
Because calibration of hand operating sprayers is operated specific, check the sprayer ensuring that the it is clear and i good working order without leaks and put on personal protective equipments and select correct nozzle and spray volumes. Clean nozzle with water , soft brush and make sure nozzle used is alligned correctly.
Similarly, set th knapsack to aappropriate presure using presure cotrol valve and put clean water into the sprayer and check for any leaks and if the nozzle is damaged, it should be replaced. Calibrate the flow rate of the nozzle and calculate its spray volume and measure the output of the nozzle in litres per minute.
Furthermore, measure the time needede to cover one tree and finally prepare the spray mix and spray.
