Being an important factor of crop growth and development, the level of irrigation is determined by the type of crop, nature of the season and the financial muscle of the farmer to buy the equipment.

As sprinkler irrigation is used for irrigating crops, water from deep wells that is pressurised about 50 pounds/ sq inch is used in the system to improve on the ability of the system to supply enough water in the field.

System management

First, 30 ft long 3 inches pipes are connected together in a system of drop lock to set up pipes across field and irrigate all crops. Irrigation is done everyday depending on temperatures and for sprinkler irrigation, a line is setup 30ft across field.

Similarly, where there are no enough pipes, move lines 30ft each time for even coverage of field and the system is turned on for irrigation through pipes.

Finally each nozzle of sprinkler puts out 4 gallons of water a minute.
