Pruning being a process of removing excess branches from a plant, the process requires to have equipments such as hand prune clippers and big prune clippers thicker vines. Pickup the right time to prune the grape vines mainly in either January or march.
Crop management
First when pruning, cut above a few cm from the base to allow growth of new shoots and clean the vines off old growth. Maintain proper spacing for proper aeration and ensure there is enough water for plant growth.
Finally, only allow vines that grow up straight to grow and also prepair new buds on base for the next year on the tree.
