Being a lucrative business in agriculture, the quality and quantity of eggs obtained from chicken farming is determined by the production technology used.
Chicken are active breeders and they are reared by commercial egg farmers and due to its resistance to diseases and high quality which increases on the market for the products. Egg production is influenced by feeding, health of the birds and the system used farming.
Nest formation
For one to rear chicken for egg production he/ she needs a chicken nest which can be obtained by use of a box which is reinforced and thick with handles.
First, cut box in half, fit one half into the other and reinforce. In 3 months, nests are replaced with new ones. Add fresh hay into nest to keep it dry.
Place them into the poultry house for egglaying and as chicken adopt easily to new things, finally they will start to lay eggs in new nest.
